BLAKESLEE – In his continuing effort to better inform area gun owners regarding Pennsylvania’s firearm laws, Rep. Jack Rader (R-Monroe) is hosting a concealed carry seminar on Thursday, Sept. 22, in Long Pond.
The free event will take place at the Tunkhannock Township Volunteer Fire Company,
1539 Long Pond Road, starting at 6 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
“Anyone interested in learning more about their rights under the Commonwealth’s gun laws is encouraged to attend our seminar,” said Rader. “There are some misconceptions out there about some of those regulations. I am hosting this event to present the facts, with the help of our local experts who will lead the discussion.”
Presenters for the seminar include representatives from the Monroe County district attorney and sheriff offices, who will also answer audience questions.
Seating at this event is limited. Attendees are asked to make a reservation by calling one of Rader’s district offices at 570-643-7683 (Blakeslee) or 570-620-4341 (Effort). They can also register online at
