Rader Announces Preservation of 95-Acre Farm in 176th District

June 15, 2026

HARRISBURG- Rep. Jack Rader (R-Monroe) announced today a 95-acre crop farm in the 176th District has been preserved through Pennsylvania’s Farmland Preservation Program.

The $562,702 grant formally preserves the land by purchasing the development rights. This ensures the property remains used for agricultural purposes for generations to come.

“Any effort to preserve agriculture is worth celebrating,” said Rader. “I am happy to see that the 176th District is benefitting from this.”

Owners, Gary and Cecilia Warner, are among 22 farms across the Commonwealth that have been approved for preservation. Nearly $8.8 million was invested statewide after a vote by the State Agriculture Land Preservation Board.
