HARRISBURG – Seeking to develop and improve Monroe County communities, Reps. Rader Takes Oath of Office in Harrisburg on New Year’s Day - Representative says job creation, opioid crisis and property taxes are priorities

State Rep. Jack Rader (R-Monroe) on New Year’s Day in the state Capitol in Harrisburg took the oath of office to begin a new, two-year term. The local lawmaker says he plans to focus his efforts on enacting policies to promote private-sector job creation, fighting the Commonwealth’s opioid epidemic and addressing the burdensome property tax issue. The state Constitution stipulates the House must convene on the first Tuesday of each year.
